There are several travel options that conference delegates may like to consider for travel to the conference in Coffs Harbour. These include air, rail and road.
The Coffs Coast website lists much more detail about travel to Coffs Harbour including a matrix of travelling times from various regional cities.
Note: Delegates are responsible for arranging/booking their own transport to the conference venue. However, if you choose to travel by air, then you might like to consider using the optional discounted domestic air travel service offered by OzWings - see information under "By air" below.
By air
Coffs Harbour is serviced by its own airport - the largest regional airport in NSW - with regular daily flights operated by Qantas , Virgin Blue and Brindabella airlines from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. There are convenient connections to all capital cities and from key locations in New Zealand.
OzWings, a division of conference organising group Ozaccom, is a licenced travel agent providing an optional service for conference delegates to help book your travel requirements. Delegates wishing to use this service should complete details in the appropriate section of the registration form and one of the OzWings staff will contact you to assist with your travel booking. Please note that all flights incur a travel management fee of $27.50 (incl GST) per booking.
By road
Coffs Harbour is a 6-hour drive (550 km) from Sydney and a 5-hour drive (430 km) from Brisbane. Bus companies Greyhound Pioneer, McCafferty's Express Coaches and Premier have daily services to Coffs Harbour from these cities.
By rail
Countrylink runs two rail services daily from Sydney and Brisbane to Coffs Harbour.
Transfers to the conference venue
Delegates travelling by air, bus or train will need to make their own way to the conference venue. There are several taxi companies that service the region including Coffs Taxis. A one-way taxi fare from the airport to the conference venue should be no more than $20.
